Quick Point are repointing and brick cleaning specialists working throughout Ramsbottom and the surrounding area. Much of the local housing is classic red-brick Victorian terrace and inter-war semi - the kind of solid brickwork that responds beautifully to sympathetic repointing and careful cleaning. We work right across Ramsbottom and the surrounding BL postcode area.
Whatever your property needs - repointing, brick or stone cleaning, paint or render removal, DOFF steam cleaning or acid washing - we use the correct method for your wall rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Every job starts with a free, no-obligation survey and a fixed written quote.
We’re fully insured, guarantee our workmanship, and keep every job tidy from start to finish. If we don’t think work is needed yet, we’ll tell you - honest advice is how we’ve built our reputation across Greater Manchester.
Our services in Ramsbottom
Common brickwork problems we fix in Ramsbottom
The housing stock around Ramsbottom tends to suffer from the same handful of issues: mortar joints that have eroded or cracked and started letting water in, brick faces that have spalled or blown after being pointed in too hard a mortar, and elevations darkened by decades of soot, traffic film and organic growth. Painted and rendered walls that have begun to trap moisture are common too.
Whatever the symptom, the cause is usually water getting into the wall and being unable to escape. Our job is to put that right - repointing in a breathable, correctly matched mortar, removing coatings that seal the wall, and cleaning the brick back to a sound, attractive finish that will look after itself for years to come.
