Quick Point are specialist pointing and brick cleaning contractors covering the whole of Greater Manchester and Cheshire. We restore and protect brick and stone on homes, period and listed properties, and commercial buildings - from a single chimney to an entire terrace. Many jobs combine two or three of these services - for example removing old render, repointing the wall beneath, then cleaning it back to its original colour. Whatever yours involves, we use the correct method for your building, and every job is fully insured, guaranteed and quoted free of charge.

No two walls are the same, and the biggest mistake in masonry work is forcing one method onto every job. A soft Victorian brick needs a completely different approach to a hard modern engineering brick, and a solid wall behaves nothing like a cavity wall.
That's why every project starts with a survey. We look at the age and construction of your property, the condition of the mortar and brick, and what you want to achieve - then recommend the correct mortar mix or cleaning method. Sometimes that means lime instead of cement; sometimes gentle DOFF steam instead of chemicals or pressure.
It also means honest advice. If a wall doesn't need doing yet, we'll say so - and if a simpler, cheaper option will do the job properly, we'll tell you that too.

Which service do I need?+
Not sure? That’s normal. Tell us the problem - damp inside, dirty or painted brick, cracked render, failing joints - and we’ll recommend the right service when we survey. Often a job combines a couple, such as render removal followed by repointing.
